Dimes from Heaven

A few weeks ago, I posted a true story about a woman who found an occasional penny, usually during a difficult time in her life, and believed that a loved one in heaven was sending them to her, to bring her comfort. Several readers wrote in to report the same phenomenon with dimes. Here is one:

Leena Parker married a Marine, and her son Daniel Griego eventually enlisted too, following in his step-dad’s footsteps. In December 2000, Leena’s husband, Earl, became a patient at the local VA hospital. The prognosis was not good. “One day when I came into his room, he was holding his hand closed,” Leena says. “I asked him what he had there, and he opened his hand to show me a shiny dime.” Leena took it—-wondering briefly who had given it to Earl—-set it on the dresser, and forgot about it. Soon after, Earl passed away.

The morning after his death, Leena awakened and started to get out of bed. It seemed as if she was sitting on something. She looked on the sheet beneath her, and saw a shiny dime. “How did that get there?” she wondered.

Through the next few weeks, Leena began finding dimes in places where they had never been before. Could this be Earl, trying to tell her something? she wondered. Were angels sending the coins, as a means of consolation? Like many of us, she was afraid to read too much into these finds. They could all be coincidences, couldn’t they?

Gradually, the flow of dimes slowed, but it never completely stopped. Leena would find a dime on the floor of her living room, or outside as she was walking down the street. She missed Earl, and wished she could believe that the dimes were a sign he was well and happy. Then this past January, her son Daniel received orders. He was being sent to Iraq.

“I had told Daniel about the dimes,” Leena says. “And the night before he was to leave, he told me he was really hoping Earl would be with him over there.” Leena made a gesture of taking Earl from her heart, and giving him to Daniel. The two smiled. Earl would be watching over both of them, they hoped.

The morning before the Iraqi war started, Daniel awakened, and began to get dressed. When he reached for his helmet, there were two shiny dimes in it. Daniel was surprised. There was no need for currency in the desert, and virtually no coins anywhere around. Where had the dimes come from? He was still pondering that evening when he attended a meeting, and looked down. In between his feet was another dime. Daniel remembered what his mother had told him about the dimes, and the gesture she had made. Earl was definitely with him, and was sending him a message of love.

Daniel Griego was in Baghdad during the fighting there, and is now safely home and nominated for the Medal of Valor. Leena does not know why certain people became casualties and others, like her son, did not. She can only express her gratitude to God, and watch for more dimes. She knows where they’re coming from.

Our family also believes in dimes from heaven. We were told about this a few years ago. My mother has a jar full of dimes she has been collecting over the years. My brother passed away 18 years ago and all of these dimes were “dropped” to her from him. My dad passed away two months ago. My mom and I were with him by his hospital bedside. We were able to tell him everything we wanted to say, and also let him know we would look for signs from him (he knew all about the dimes). My brother left the hospital and went home and found a dime on the sidewalk at the time our dad was passing away. I came home and had to tell my eight year old daughter that Pop Pop had gone to heaven. I place my pocketbook on the counter and it fell on its side. With all of the stuff inside, I cannot believe the only think to pop out of it was a dime; it seemed to jump out onto the floor. She picked it up and yelled “Pop Pop”!! There are so many more stories, but the best one that made my mom realize how true “dimes” really are, is last week it would have been my dad’s 86th birthday. She went to mass, it was Monday, April 6. 7:30 in the morning, before mass began, she went to kneel down and right under the kneeler was a lone dime!!! How beautiful is that for my mom?

I would love to hear other stories from anyone else. I find this very comforting, as do my children.
God Bless.

3 years ago May 5th, 2006 my grandmother passed away. We were very close and I was away at college and wasn’t able to say goodbye as she died of a sudden heart attack. As soon as she passed I began finding dimes in very odd places, and they would always be bright, new, shiny pennies that cought my attention. A few examples…when I went to work one day there was one sitting in front of my keyboard. Another time when my friend and I took a cruise we had to do the drill where everyone puts on a life vest and goes to the top deck and there was one right in front of where I stood. Another time as I as changing my sheets on my bed there was one in the center of the mattress. Each one I found I felt like she was with me.

At this point I thought I was crazy but I remembered taking a religious studies course and a speaker came in to discuss dealing with death and after her daughter passed she began finding pennies. She told the class about ‘pennies from heaven’. So I searched the internet and found that I wasn’t the only one who kept finding dimes! I probably found around 20 dimes within a few months after her passing and then I rarely found them….until….my father passed away in August 2007, then I found them all the time again. The entire time I thought I might just be crazy but then yesterday on my way home from work the most intense dime experienced happened.

I was driving home wearing work clothes (dress pants without pockets & just a long sleeve shirt, no jacket). I was driving along when I felt something hit my leg, I reached down and felt something round sliding along the right side of my thigh. I immediately assumed it was a button, however, when I picked it up from my side it was a brand new shiny dime. Literally there is NOWHERE that it could’ve come from! I have a clutter-free car, I keep all my change in my wallet, there is simply no other explanation. Even until this point after all my research I still thought I might just be crazy but there is no other explanation besides it literally being dropped from heaven. Tuesday it will have been 3 years since my grandmother passed…I have no doubt that she was letting me know she’s still with me. I love you grandma!

Thank you Donna for sharing your experience!

Ever since my grandmother passed in 2000. I have been finding dimes. My favorite was finding one in between the mattress and the box-spring. It was as if she was saying “it is about time you cleaned your room”. Or, the one I found inside my pack of cigarettes. A little reminder that she loves me and I need to quit. Or having a dime waiting for me on my desk chair at work. I find them everywhere and each time I do I hear her voice and feel her love and her encouragement. “Be a good girl, don’t make my mistakes, you’re doing it right, everything always works out for the best, keep your chin up, I love you”

My husband has been finding them more often now. He has worked part-time for the last ten years, but almost every day he goes out and works he finds a dime. He even found one on the tailgate of his work truck right after he pulled into the job site. I think she is trying to reward him for getting out there and to keep trying.

They always put a smile on my face and in my heart. Thank you, Mimmie, I love you too.

Great stories!

My mom’s dime story is at http://www.iaquilts.com
(Quilt Pink and Our Mother’s Story)

When my grandaughter died 4 years ago from SIDS AT 5 1/2 months old it was devastating to my family. When I went back to work a couple weeks later I wanted to buy a snack and was a dime short so I went back to my office to get one and saw one on the floor in the hall. Since that time when ever I am having a bad day or need a little boost to get thru the day I find a dime. People that I have told this to start ed finding dimes in their time of need. I don’t understand it but just accept it,appreciate it, and thank God every time I find one.

What if you suddenly begin to find dimes but you have not had anyone that you know over pass over? I too have been finding dimes unexpectantly and in odd places.
I have always found pennies and related to them someone watching over me. But dimes? That has only been in the past few months and not pennies anymore.
I feel that someone is trying to get my attention but I can’t figure o ut why.

Since my son passed away on January 6th, 2010, my family has been finding dimes. The latest find really confirmed my belief that the dimes are messages from heaven. My son was in the Army Reserves. Last weekend, his 4 year old cousin was at a county fair and visited the Army National Guard booth. The soldiers gave him an Army wallet. He was thrilled. The next day, little Benji came into my room to show me his new wallet. He opened the wallet and pulled out a dime! I asked him where he got the dime. He told me that he had found it behind the bed in his sister’s room. This was the room that my son always slept in while visiting his cousins. I know my son was looking down on us that day and winking :)

My grandmother passed away 6 years ago and just after she passed away I started finding dimes in the oddest places. When I found the first dime I knew immediately it was from her. People would ask me why I thought this because they say “pennies from heaven” and this was a dime. I said with no hesitation that it was because my grandma would think a penny is not worth as much as a dime and that was the reasoning. I have continued to find dimes in the oddest places, on the fireplace, in a stove under the burner, and it goes on and on. Over the years I have found the dimes when I am having the worst days and some of the most troublesome times. Each and every time I find one, I immediately think of Grandma and know everything is going to be okay. Once we were moving out of a house that I basically raised my children in and it was a very trying time for all of us. I found dimes over and over again while removing the boxes to leave. My friend couldn’t believe where I was finding them, behind the door in little stacks and over and over again. She made the comment that the new house wouldn’t have them and right away I commented, oh they will be there and sure enough the first closet in the front door, there was a dime sitting in the corner. I have started saving the dimes and I wish I would have saved them all but I will continue to save them. I have many, many stories and now when I share with friends the story, they find the dimes and the stories are shared and each time it brings someone closer to God and believing in there after life death. Thank you Grandma for this gift!

Last May my friend, Dylan had passed while we were all camping in a drowning accident. After we all got together to start our grieving process and most of us were trying to accept it and try to move forward but his mom Sheri was obviously taking it pretty hard, her youngest son… the sweetest most caring man you would ever meet, was taken from us, we use the saying God needed another angel so he took ours. Dylan truly was our angel, always looking after everyone… Making sure everyone was having a good time.
Month later a few of us started to find dimes randomly, but like everyone else we never thought much of it at first… Sheri went to a psychic just to see what they had to say. Sheri had always been worried that Dylan wasn’t in a great place, but the psychic reassured her that everything was great, he was having the time of his life. Sheri had also brought up the dimes we had never heard of dimes from heaven before that… Sheri came home and told us that Dylan was looking over us, proving he was there by leaving us the dimes… The night Sheri went to the psychic we all had gotten together to talk about it, after we went home we all found dimes… Of course you can never be sure if it’s really him, but being spiritual like we are, we believe it’s Dylans way to prove that he’s doing good and he’s looking over us…
Now everytime I find a dime I know it’s his way of telling me he’s there even though he can’t be.

Since Mom died 3 years ago, I have been having a tough time financially and also just missing her like heck. She would always make me feel better no matter what I was going through. Just before I read the article about dimes, I had found one but kind of shrugged it off. The last 2 weeks I have been home from work sick with the flu and pneumonia and missing Mom more than ever. I decided to get dressed after lounging around all morning and pulled out a pair of pants at the back of my closet that I had worn during the summer. I heard something fall on the floor and when I looked, there it was, a shiny dime. It’s really strange because I usually always empty my pockets. I know Mom is watching over me and its her way of saying I’m here. Another odd thing that just recently happened too was that every birthday she would give me 25.00. This year I wasn’t looking forward to another birthday without her. I decided to buy 3 lottery tickets, one of them being the one she always told me to buy. I can still hear her saying, its a good one Rose. To my amazement, I won exactly 25.00 on it!!! I whispered to myself…..Thank you Mom, Miss you and love you forever. Rose

I have recently been through a lot and have now been finding dimes everywhere. No doubt its from my grandfather who died before I was born but I’ve always felt a connection to him. When I moved to the City one day walking to lunch alone I found a bag of dimes on the street. literally there had to be 20 in there. As I look back on the recent events of my life that have unfolded, I totally think this was him telling me its going to be ok. Now I too find dimes after the latest things that have happened to me in the most random places, especially at work where the most trouble has been caused. Even in my apartment where I know I didn’t drop any change. It’s certainly comforting especially now after reading everyone’s stories on here, so thanks everyone, and thanks Pop :)

yes…. finding dimes.. now that I believe. I find dimes in the most unusual places, I save them all in a plastic baggie. I know they are from my mom who passed almost 6 yrs ago.. Tonight I was upset I opened up a box of costume jewelery that I saved from my Mom and sure enough three dimes were in it …. now how did just dimes, not nickels, not pennies not quarters but just dimes be in my moms jewelery???…. Iam loving it!! I have 34 dimes collected in only about one month since I opened my heart to this “dime” thing I cant wait to find more…….. oh bye the way when I went to work today there was a dime on my desk???? I cleaned my desk before we all left for thanksgiving holiday last wednesday??? So again another “dime” mystery!!!

Yes, my son leaves dimes for me, as well. He was murdered 17 years ago at 3 1/2 and when I am sad dimes will appear in places I know there is no other way they could have gotten there but by Christopher. The other day, I found 4 dimes in a matter of 2 hrs. I have cleaned everything off of the dryer COMPLETELY only to leave the room for a few minutes and there will be a dime on the dryer. Don’t know what it is about the dimes, but it is definitely true and I am so thankful for them. I keep them in a small jewelry box by themselves so I can watch the number of dimes grow. May GOD bless all of you that are suffering and may you find MANY dimes….. Merry Christmas to all…

Yes , I am another Dime Finder! It started happening 3 years ago very intensely, then it faded a bit and now it’s back with great force. I kept laughing about it and thought maybe it was someone trying to communicate to me from the other side. I immediately thought it might be my dad but he died 13 years ago so I didn’t really connect it. Initially, I justified it because it would happen in places that could be logical – like in my washing machine or dryer. I thought coins just fell out – but when I realized it was only dimes I started to take notice. Then out on my driveway – a single dime under the leaves I was cleaning up, during the Holidays a dime – smack dab in the middle of the bathroom rug, Change coming out of a soda machine but only the dime falls to the floor, etc. I generally find them at my house. I told a student of mine today and he went on Google and told me a lot of other people experience it. I got so excited to realize I seem to be connected to something. Don’t know what… but something. This is so much fun! It never occurred to me to start saving them but I will now that others are! Thanks and may the dime be with you!

I posted a few months ago on here about my dime story and now see more and I find it very heart warming. I have to share a few more stories tho as it just keeps happening. My mom had passed two years ago and I went out to her house to visit my dad and sit amongst the photo albums. In this little box amongst the photos was a few little things and one was an old wallet that was my mom’s. It had her writing on a little piece of paper in it and a dime. One single dime! My family also is finding them now as I have shared the stories and my daughter works as a care aid. She has just started her practicum and her first client passed away in her arms. It was very hard on her. The next day she went to work and was taking sheets off the clients bed and when she went to pull them off, two dimes fell off the bed. She told me right away. I have kept my dimes and I will never spend them. They are blessings to let us know that our loved ones are okay! Thankyou everyone for your dime stories!

Five years ago while my husband was ill in the hospital, his friend, who recently lost his wife, came to visit. He told us about finding dimes. He felt it was from a sign from his wife telling him everything was OK. My husband passed away a few months later. Almost immediately I began to find dimes. I found them everywhere. People would try to rationalize why they were there. But I said, “It;s always dimes no nickels. no pennies, no quarters, only dimes.” I’ve found them in Bermuda visiting my son. I found them at the beach. My son found them in Florida while on vacation. He found them in Canada on an elevator where he started a new job. We found them under our chair in a restaurant. We found them at my granddson’s little league game. My daughter finds them all the time. We have found so many over the past five years. Maybe not as frequently, but they still appear. It makes me feel good to think he is watching over us.

I have been finding dimes for many years. I have over 200. Every time I tell someone about it, they start to find them. I am convinced they are from heaven. I am always so touched when I get them. I know my mom is watching over us. Our loved ones can see us. Keep your faith and trust in our God.

Would like to reprint your story “Hope from Heaven” in a book I am compiling for use by hospice volunteers, etc.
Please advise Thank you!

I am so happy to see others are recieving dimes also. I thought I was going crazy. My first dime appeared December 24th,2010 in a mall while I was doing last minute shopping.
In the past 3 monthes I have recieved 12 dimes. The freakiest one was February 10th. It was my second day on vacation in Costa Rica. (I live in Canada)I was in a restaurant with a group of 8 of us.As I was shuffling my chair closer to the table I looked down by my foot and saw something shiny wedged in the wooden floorboards. I asked my Costa Rican friend what it was and he said “it’s a canadian dime” with a little work he picked it out of the floorboards and I took a picture of it.Another day Dec.28th I had found one dime in a gas station where I had stopped for my morning coffee and then I went shopping with my son in another town.He knew the whole dime story .We were walking along a very busy street chattin away when we heard a ping on the pavement beside me. I stopped dead in my tracks. He said “Mom that sounded like money dropping”
I said I’m not lookin,If it’s a dime I’m gonna be freaked! Sure enough he picked it up and it was a dime.Last week I went to a tea leaf reader to see what these dimes are all about. She told me,it was someone from the other side. I have 7 family members on the other side,so am confused as to who is sending me these dimes and why?.After the reading the lady got up from my table and walked 4 feet away from me. She bent down and picked up something from the floor. You guessed it…dime # 11.
Tonite I was out at a very busy bar. As I was leaving I had to cross a vacant dance floor,lo and behold a lonely dime in my path.So this is why I decided to look up pennies from heaven. I so appreciate your stories. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

My son died after 9 and 1/2 beautiful years of life, changing this world, and my life, for the better. Losing him, I never thought I could ever survive it. Mother’s never think they will have to out live their own child, nor can they begin to fathom it, much less survive and overcome it.

Ever since his passing, I will occasionally find not pennies, but DIMES, most usually with his date of birth, or like a few minutes ago, his date of death. Mother’s Day is tomorrow, and he was on my mind the second I went into the bathroom, and found it there on the toilet seat of all places, and guess where I was headed to, lol.

I have 4 other children, but this is an upstairs office bathroom used only by me. I once found a whole line up of dimes in the bathtub, which I accused every one of doing, but it was at 5am when I went to take a shower that I found them. Everybody was fast asleep, and I was the last one up at night, the day prior. Plus, they would have had to climb up to the upstairs bathroom, and sneak in to do this.

Confronting my husband, he was in complete denial, and I know I don’t put any change in my pockets to fall out, and my purse doesn’t go in the bathroom, so what was up? A perfectly straight line of all head’s up dimes, with significant dates, from what I believe to be my son shining down upon me, when I need it the absolute most.

People say it’s not dimes..HA..I’m glad I found this article, because I totally believe!

Hugs,
Shelly

Dimes are my comfort! My mother died when I was 16. I would find pennies everywhere even as I got older my dad would come to my home and find pennies on the floor and say “I’m buying the kids some piggy bank there are always pennies lying all over your floors everytime I come over”. I told him those were pennies for heaven mom was offering me a penny for my thoughts. My dad passed away six years ago at the bowling alley after rolling a strike. He had been an avid bowler for years. He and my mom bowled in state tourniments in the 60′s and 70′s. After my mom had died my dad returned to bowling, he wasn’t at retirement age yet but needed something to occupy his time. In the 20 years he bowled after my mom had passed he has bowled several 300 perfect games and had earned his name in the American Bowling Congress Hall of Fame. It was custom to exchange change durring leage games and you gave a quarter to whoever got a strike and a dime for picking up one lone pin left. After my dads massive heart attack my sister and I started finding dimes everywhere! I could clean every room in my house and walk back in a room and a dime would be just laying in plain view! And I too have had them fall from no where and land in my lap! I came to the conclusion that the dimes signified my dad being the last one left between he and my mother and he was the spare pick up that was left behind. I miss them both and now my sister also! It is strange but i now find two pennies and a dime most of the time all together. I guess my mom and sister still care about my thoughts and they all want me to know “In God We Trust”

My son passed away 6years ago at the age of 16 in a car accident, about two years ago, I started to find dimes in different places,

In the floor board of the car,on the desk at my work, in the dryer,in some shorts that I bought at a garage sale, on top of a magazine, at restaurants,my daughter found one in her pencil sharpener at school,my sisters and I took a trip to Chicago, on the back of the bumper of the car, on a fence post. Today when I was cleaning the house, on the garage floor. My mom told me the story about my son putting dimes in my dads casket when he passed away, my dad was also so pride of his 1st dime he got from working, my sister has it. I took a chance and pulled up dimes from heaven and found this web page, now I truly belive I’m getting dimes from heaven. My son is always with me, I have also saved all the dimes I have found, I have a basket full, I know one day my son and I will discuss all the dimes together in Heaven, I love and miss him very much, God bless to all the people that have lost love ones on this page, Mom of an angel Matthew Sizemore.

My sister and I went to Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant Michigan to spend the night on Tuesday, June 28th. The 28th would have been her 38th wedding anniversary, but her husband passed away 6 years ago. June 29th is the day our father passed away 11 years ago. We have always found dimes since their passing (as well as our mother, who passed away 5 years ago), but this incident tops all. The morning of June 29th while we were packing our bags, I found a dime in the middle of the bedsheets, next to my suitcase and purse. This wasn’t just any dime, however. It was dated 1902, the year our father was born. How does a 1902 dime find its way onto rumpled bedsheets in a hotel room on the very date he passed away? It was Dad’s way of saying Hi Girls, thanks for thinking of me today. We were both speechless cuz that is a pretty freaky thing!

My Grandma Norman passed away in 1978, since then she has been known to leave dimes around for those she loves,I also have an uncle who passed away in 1998 who leaves pennies around.
My 10 year old son, being the wise one who pays attention to everything that is talked about, came running in the house on Aug 11, 2011 asking me “who leaves the dimes?” I couldn’t remember at the time if it was grandma or my uncle, so I said “did you find one” he said “I found 11 dimes lined up in a row on the sidewalk in front of our house” he was very excited so I called my cousin to see which loved one left what, she said grandma leaves the dimes, I then told her about Danny finding the row of dimes and she said “do you know what today is?” today marks the 33rd anniversary of grandmas death! Wow, that one gave us all goose bumps. 11 dimes on the 11th day in 2011… and that equals 33! My son has the dimes saved in his cross box and said he will keep them forever!

Hi

Very interesting reading. I as well have a story about dimes. The more I experience the more I belive this is more than just coincidence.
I am in a second relationship and my finace lost his son in a car accident 6 years ago. Shortly after his death, he and his ex starting finding dimes throughout the house in odd places. He told me this story when we met and I might add, neither one of us are spiritual or church going.
My mom passed away last year and now we both find dimes at odd times and in odd places. We are remodelling our home and have found a dime between floor boards. I have found them in the washer, like others, lying on a railing on the stairs, at my partners feet when he got out of the water and was removing his dry suit after a dive and on and on.
Yesterday was my favorite and most chilling experience. I was feeling sad and was not sure why. When I feel like this I go visit my mom at the graveyard which I did. The grass on her grave that we planted last year was wilted and there were weeds growing. This bothered me and I tried to remove some of the weeds. After I pulled several weeds the next one left a hole about 2 inches deep and 2 inches wide. I tossed the weed aside but felt this looked worse so I knelt down to straighten an angel that I had left ther several months before. When I stood up I was looking straight down in the crater I had created by removing a weed. Something caught my eye. I knelt down again and picked a shiny dime from the hole. It was at that moment I felt my mom was truly there with me in spirit teling me it was OK.

i have been finding dimes for 3 years now ond only dimes..i find them in may strange ways ..like im ordering coffee at a counter and i look down nothing there .i grab my coffee and as look down there is a dime …im looking at a book thats on the shelf and reading the title of the book ..no dime there then i just move my head to look at someting else and return my eyes to the first book i saw and there a dime on top of it ???i i take walks with my daughter many times ,,and she askes me do you think you will find a dime as we wals …i said dont know …1 min later i look down and there is a dime in font of my foot..this has happened 4 times with her i find dimes where ever i go….

I have chills reading all of the comments because I had no idea that others have experienced what I have for the last nine years. I only tell certain people because some might think that I have lost my marbles.
Shortly after my best friend of 40 years died, I started finding dimes. At first I would find them on the ground or in “normal” places. Then I started finding them, sometimes up to four a day, in very strange places or even lined up in a row just outside my bedroom door. I even found one in between the fur of my sleeping cat. In all, I have found over 600 dimes!!
I don’t find them as often as I did in the first five years but I find them when I least expect to or when I need a “dime hug” from my best friend.

I have heard of “pennies from heaven” before but never dimes. I was at a memorial service at work this afternoon for a co-worker/friend who was shot & killed 2 weeks ago & taken from us all far too soon. Another member of my department who worked closely with Shane said she had not yet received her dime from him….but that most of his other friends or family had. As we were leaving the service, she stood up & found a dime at her feet! Then I came back to my desk & searched the internet about the phenomenon…as I started to read the posts above, the phone rang and as I reached to answer the phone….there, on top of my computer…were 2 dimes!!!

Absolutely Beautiful stories of dimes from heaven.

My Dad died in June 2009. I was totally unprepared for the profound change my life would have with his departure from this earth. By Sept of 2010, I was in my first ever full blown depression. It was the worst thing I have ever experienced. But…this is when the dimes started coming! I have found over 45 dimes. Not in a pile of change or with other coins….Lone dimes. In the parking lot at the high school, as I open my car door at the grocery store and step out, stuck to the bottom of my bare foot, under the laundry basket, in the sheets, under my desk at work…..It’s the most amazing thing. So amazing that I’m finally ready to share it. I just found one minute ago in an envelope I was throwing away. Each and every time I find a dime…I get this strong message that says, “Everything is going to be okay.” My answer is always, “Thanks Dad”. It was never even a question in my mind that he was sending them as a message that it would all be okay. Now it’s 2012….It’s getting better and better. Thank God for my little spiritual reminders…DIMES. I have them in a nice little row that is marching ever longer. :)

My mom was my best friend. My advisor and my confident. When she passed away on July 4th almost 5 years ago–I was devestated and my world quickly was falling apart. In the weeks following her death I was visiting my aunt (her sister) and she excitedly brought out a magazine she had been reading early that morning. There was an article about “angels and dimes” in it. I immediatly got goosebumps because that morning as I was sweeping I had found 2 dimes….and ever since then, whenever I am down and out and in need of a hug……I find a dime!! In the most unusual places. Lately I have been feeling alone and not very good about myself and my present situation. Today is my dads birthday and I was feeling frustrated about having the family responisbilty of carrying out family birthdays…..after all….they dont do it for me! no cakes or special suppers come my way since Mom passed away…..This morning I was thinking that I would skip making a special supper….I made my bed. Went to the washroom and returned to get ready for work……….when I sat back down on my bed–there was a dime!! Mom wants me to continue to do what she always did…<3 And I will
