Here are some links to other sites that I think you might like:
  • www.wraptheminlove.org. An organization where quilters can make and send quilts to needy children all over the world.

  • http://www.higreetings.com/ : There are times when just a mere Hello works like magic to get you connected to your friend. Here are some ecards for those times when you just want to show that you are near.

  • http://HeavenlyangelsinNeed.com  This registered charity organization provides burial clothes, caskets, memory boxes and support for parents who have lost their babies, from miscarriages to live birth babies.  They accept donations of wedding dresses and gowns and their volunteers make precious little burial clothing for these tiny babies and give them to the bereaved parents through hospitals that use their services. They also provide these beautiful memory boxes (also made solely by volunteers) to the parents to enable them to take mementos of their lost child home with them.

  • --A new group of angel-lovers is making angel dolls to give to hospitals, Ronald McDonalds homes etc. To take part, you have to send a donation of $35 and then they make and send a doll. It sounds more like a business to me, but of course there's nothing wrong with that. You can check their website at info@theangelworkshop.com.

  • Angels for Hope is a nonprofit organization that offers free crocheted angels for anyone in need of hope. They attach a small card with the angel to say to an injured or ill person, you are not alone, others do care, and you are in our thoughts and prayers.  At your request the workers can let it be known that you requested the item. In addition to crocheted angels, they also offer butterflies and smiley faces. http://www.angelsforhope.org for info.
