This registered charity organization provides burial clothes, caskets,
memory boxes and support for parents who have lost their babies, from
miscarriages to live birth babies. They accept donations of wedding
dresses and gowns and their volunteers make precious little burial clothing
for these tiny babies and give them to the bereaved parents through
hospitals that use their services. They also provide these beautiful memory
boxes (also made solely by volunteers) to the parents to enable them to take
mementos of their lost child home with them.
- --A new group of angel-lovers is making angel dolls
to give to hospitals, Ronald McDonalds homes etc. To take part, you have to
send a donation of $35 and then they make and send a doll. It sounds more like
a business to me, but of course there's nothing wrong with that. You can check
their website at info@theangelworkshop.com.
- Angels for Hope is a nonprofit organization that
offers free crocheted angels for anyone in need of hope. They attach a small
card with the angel to say to an injured or ill person, you are not alone,
others do care, and you are in our thoughts and prayers. At your request
the workers can let it be known that you requested the item. In addition to
crocheted angels, they also offer butterflies and smiley faces.

2theHeart is a site run by Susan Fahncke, a fine writer who uses her own
material, or the essays of a terrific stable of writers to provide you with a
daily true story of courage, encouragement and love. Not necessarily
about heavenly angels, but usually focusing on the earthly kind. Susan also
has written a beautiful book about her sister called
"Angel's Legacy," which
you can order from her site.
- Send your preteen and teen daughters to St. Maria's Board where they can
chit-chat, share their opinions and talk about the Catholic faith with others

makes beautiful jewelry to commemorate them. You might find something
perfect on her website.

- Have you ever read an inspirational
bi-monthly magazine about people's experiences with angels, published by the
folks at
Guideposts
Check subscription information for Angels on Earth.
- If you are a fan of Loretta Young's, there's more available for you than
her biography. Would you like to have copies of some of her
award-winning television shows? Her son and daughter-in-law maintain a
website that can help you order. Go to
Entertainment Group. and
enjoy the browse. (This talented team also produces videos on miracles.)
- When we suffer a tragedy, it takes courage to turn it into something
positive. Lisa Guidroz did that when her teen-age son Bryson was killed
in an auto accident. She started a store, a website,
Bryson's Angels (just
beautiful!), and through her own grieving, has been able to comfort others.
This is a good site to recommend to others.
